Media
Ministries
Gospel broadcast around the world
The aim of Media Ministries of the Assemblies of God is twofold. Through
its audio, video and multimedia productions it lifts up Christ and builds
the local church. Through its broadcast ministries, which feature daily
radio and television programs, it spreads Christian principles and the
message of salvation.
Media Ministries produces a wide range of materials, but the main objective
is to equip and enable people to walk more closely with God. To do that,
professional video and audio productions, Web sites and interactive
CDs are produced for local Assemblies of God churches and national departments.
Currently, the media center produces two radio programs and one television
program regularly at its state-of-the-art headquarters in Springfield,
Mo.
The ByLine radio program, hosted by Dan Betzer, pastor of First Assembly
of God in Fort Myers, Fla., is a two-minute program, which is broadcast
over more than 250 stations. The popular commentary addresses a variety
of topics coupled with spiritual applications. A one-minute television
version of ByLine can also be seen on eight major Christian networks
and a host of local stations each weekday.
Since its inception, Byline TV has grown to include 10 major Christian
networks with the show airing on more than 600 TV stations around the
world, reaching a potential of more than 186 million viewers. The show
has been produced on location in India, South Africa and Israel.
Revivaltime Classics is a radio show featuring the sermons of C.M.
Ward, deceased speaker of Revivaltime. During each program, host Dan
Betzer interviews members of the original radio program and provides
a historical perspective into the happenings of the days when Ward preached
his sermons.
Media Ministries endeavors to empower people in the local church to
deepen their walk with Christ and help them share their faith with others.
Media Ministries has a Web site that enables computer users to hear
the aforementioned radio programs anytime.
