A gift for you

This issue of the Pentecostal Evangel may not be what you expected. With recipes, gift ideas and even a craft project, you might think you’ve picked up the wrong magazine. You haven’t. We’re just offering you something a little different this week.

We’ve created a special Christmas edition that will appeal to your friends and family — those who might not otherwise pick up a copy of the Evangel.

This issue is meant to be a tool. There are two ways you can use it: Try out some of the ideas on your own and share them with a friend, or simply pass the issue on to someone you know who is always looking for fresh, fun ideas. Beyond the crafts and the recipes, you’ll find the true meaning of Christmas in these pages.

Our goal was to create a collection that would encourage you to make some memories this year — to put aside some of the commercial trappings and focus on the simple things that make Christmas special. Gather your children together and make a gingerbread house. Invite your friends over for hot chocolate or homemade mocha. Plan a theme dinner for your neighbors.

Make a new memory. Make a new friend. There’s no more effective way to share the love of Jesus. And there’s no better time to do it than Christmas.
