Forgiveness for Abortion

Abortion is taking an innocent life. Having a heartbeat proves life begins at conception, despite those thinking otherwise.
Abortion not only takes a life, it affects the one having the abortion. It brings regret, guilt and emotional hurt. It could keep the guilty person from having future children. Those aborted could have been teachers, doctors, nurses or religious workers. What a loss!
Does God forgive those having an abortion? Of course! The Bible says if we confess our sins, God “is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, KJV).
Though God forgives, there may be flashbacks and nightmares of the past. God can help you forget the past. The apostle Paul said he forgot the past (Philippians 3:13). Your past is forgiven! Don’t dwell on it!
Thousands of women guilty of abortion (and the men involved in the tragedy) have found God’s love and forgiveness. God will help remove the pain, shame and hurt of the past. Accept God’s love and forgiveness, giving you hope for the future.
