Fear

Fear can destroy your self-esteem. It can cause you to neglect your talents and abilities. It weakens faith in God, self and others. It robs you from of rest and being your best.
The apostle John said there is no fear in love (1 John 4:18). He goes on to say, “Fear hath torment.” The Bible never denies the pain fear causes.
But the Bible offers a solution. The apostle Paul said, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). David, when facing death, had no fear because God was with him (Psalm 23:4).
Some fear people. The writer of Hebrews says, “We may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Hebrews 13:6).
God is above all your fears. As you replace your fear with faith in Him, God will give you peace of mind (Philippians 4:7).
