Tears

David said, “I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears” (Psalm 6:6, KJV).
Every night countless brokenhearted people cry themselves to sleep. Many others are dependent daily upon medication to sleep.
All are subjected to failures, heartache and tears. Every one faces it. Some more than others.
God sees your tears. When Hezekiah was facing death, God responded, “I have seen thy tears” (2 Kings 20:5). The Psalmist said, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
When Jesus heard of Lazarus’ death, John said, “Jesus wept” (John 11:35). Yes, Jesus, God’s Son shed tears.
God records our tears. He is described as placing them into a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He not only sees and records our tears; He shares the feeling that causes the tears.
One day, when we are forever with the Lord, all tears will be wiped away (Revelation 21:4). Until then, be assured of your Heavenly Father’s compassion, care and comfort.
