Character assassination

Have you been falsely accused? Are vicious rumors being spread about you? Remember lies and rumors cannot destroy your character. Your character will be stronger as you overcome these untruths.
People hated Jesus without reason (John 15:25). Even the earthly siblings of Jesus (Matthew 13:55,56) said of Him, “He is beside himself” (Mark 3:21, KJV). Literally, “He’s crazy.”
Jesus was accused of gluttony and being a winebibber (Matthew 11:19). He was also accused of being possessed by a devil (John 10:20).
Jesus said Christians would be persecuted (Matthew 5:10-12). He also said Christians would be hated (John 15:18,19). Paul said all who live godly lives will face persecution (2 Timothy 3:12).
Do you feel your character is being destroyed? Let these words encourage you: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn” (Isaiah 54:17).
